The Comen CMS1200 electrocardiograph is designed for the acquisition, recording, and graphic analysis of cardiac electrical activity through surface electrodes. Its structure incorporates a high-resolution LCD screen, which allows real-time visualization of standard leads (bipolar and unipolar) and electrocardiographic parameters such as frequency, intervals, and morphology of the QRS complex. It features an alphanumeric keyboard and quick function buttons, which optimize menu navigation, record acquisition, and data storage. It integrates connection ports for precordial and peripheral electrodes, as well as an output for immediate thermal printing of the tracing. The equipment includes automated algorithms for basic clinical analysis and interpretation, useful for detecting arrhythmias, blocks, ischemia, and other rhythm alterations. Its application is essential in emergency units, cardiology, pre-operative monitoring, and outpatient care for patients with cardiovascular risk.
